Gateway Pendant III - Rutile Star

This one of a kind pendant features a beautiful partial rutile star and as an extra detail, exploding from the centre, a little mirror hematite inclusion. The stone is set in a frame of reticulated sterling silver that has been oxidised and burnished in parts. A little sprinkle of 24ct gold echoes the beautiful golden rutile needles.
The pendant hangs from a lightly patinated mid weight belcher chain, one of my favourite chains, which is very strong. A hand crafted ‘s’ clasp is used to fasten the chain which has an adjustable length between 16 and 19 inches in 2, 1/1/2 inch adjustments. The pendant size is approximately 2 inches by 1 inch.    

I have also created a pair of rutile earrings that would work very well with this necklace. 

Fully hallmarked by the London Assay office, the piece carries the finesses marks of 925 silver and 999 or 24ct gold. 

You will receive this piece in a black circular box with a coloured lid.  If you would like a specific colour, please get in touch and we we will do our best to help. Choices are red, pink, purple, turquoise, or lime. The necklace is sent to you by registered post at no extra cost.
